Swiss Engineering as a guest at SCHURTER

The Central Switzerland section of the Swiss Engineering STV professional association met on Thursday, January 25, 2024 for its General Assembly at the SCHURTER AG premises in Lucerne, which were newly occupied in 2021.

Swiss Engineering STV is the most important professional association of engineers and architects in Switzerland, with over 11,000 members from all disciplines, sectors, fields of activity and management levels. Since 1905, the association has been advocating for the interests of its members and is involved in projects, networks and political processes. The association also lends a voice to the concerns of its members and promotes understanding of technology in society. There are 24 sections throughout Switzerland.

A good 50 members gathered for this year's General Assembly of the Central Switzerland section in the "Weitsicht" staff restaurant at SCHURTER AG, which was newly built in 2021. They were welcomed by Bruno Zemp, Head of Advanced Engineering, and familiarized with the SCHURTER company with the help of a presentation.

The Team Leader of Micron Guard then accompanied the guests in two groups on a factory tour of fuses for industrial and aerospace applications. The participants were impressed by the modern location, the production facilities, and SCHURTER's expertise. The event concluded with a group dinner.
